Call for trainers, experts, consultants, and artists to contribute to the Women Empowerment, Global Education and Youth Cooperation Programmes, for the next four years!
Are you used to bring together people from different backgrounds and cultures?
Are you keen on facilitating workshops or conferences? Are you interested in being a trainer at the Youth Cooperation Programme Summer Universities? Do you wish to moderate the sessions of the Lisbon Forum? Are you willing to participate in research and awareness-raising projects to combat violence against women? Would you like to produce innovative training materials for the Global Education Programme? Are you a musician or graphic facilitator who believes that art and human rights go hand in hand? Are you a communication expert specialised in intercultural dialogue campaigns implementation?
The North-South Centre of the Council of Europe is launching a Call for Tenders for a maximum of 230 Providers to integrate a pool of experts to support the implementation of the North-South Centre’s activities and projects in the areas of Women Empowerment, Global Education, and Youth Cooperation.
Join our team in the activities and projects of the next four years to share new approaches to common problems, to learn from each other and to build stronger societies together, based on the values of human rights, democracy and fairness!
Should you wish to work with us over the duration of this Framework Contract (estimated to start on 1 July 2021 until 31 December 2021, renewable until 31 December 2025) you are invited to submit your proposal to integrate the pool by 25 April 2021. This may be the sole call for that purpose to be issued during that period. Both natural and legal persons are invited to tender.
The Framework contract is organised in 6 different lots divided by areas (“1” below) and competencies (“2” below). Please note that you must be fluent in either English or French and have minimum of three years proven experience in the field(s) relevant to the lot(s) you are tendering for.
(1) Areas:
Women Empowerment, women’s rights and gender equality, including, but not limited to:
- Violence against women and domestic violence;
- Migrant, refugee, asylum-seeking women and girls;
- Trafficking and exploitation of women and girls;
- Non-discrimination, gender stereotypes, sexism, multiple discrimination and intersectionality;
- Gender mainstreaming in education and media.
Global Education/Global Citizenship Education (GE/GCED), including, but not limited to:
- Global competences for democratic citizenship;
- Intercultural dialogue/learning;
- Interreligious dialogue;
- Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development;
- Environmental degradation, Climate change, Loss of biodiversity;
- Media literacy;
- Diaspora communities;
- Interregional cooperation in the fields mentioned above.
Youth Cooperation, including, but not limited to:
- Governance and democratic participation: Youth participation and youth structured dialogue;
- Intergenerational dialogue;
- Access to youth rights;
- Interregional cooperation in the field of Youth;
- Youth, Peace and Security;
- Digital community building, digital communication, digital youth work, gamification, online youth events, social media.
(2) Competencies :
Drafting analytical reports (assessments, gap analysis…); researching; monitoring and evaluation; revising and proof-reading documents for publication; designing and delivering training modules and producing training materials, online and/or offline, based on formal and non-formal education methodologies; tutoring courses and workshops online and/or offline; conducting/ facilitating/ sharing expertise at offline and online trainings/ workshops/ conferences/ high level meetings; providing analysis of specific legal contexts;
Providing graphic harvesting / facilitation / recording (creating visual summaries) during in-person and online activities and meetings;
Providing musical creation and facilitation as pedagogical tools/ methodologies for/during activities/meetings;
Designing content for campaigns: Campaign design (webpage structure, content, visuals and resources); campaign promotion (launching & communication strategy, social media management); campaign monitoring, communication strategy, social media management; data collection, reporting and infographic with campaign results.
