THE MAIN AIM is to bring together street artists involved (interested) in social work and street workers using (or interested in using) street art in their practice

PARTICIPANTS PROFILE

Street artists specialized in any form of street art (visual, performative, musical, or physical) who are currently engaged in — or wish to begin—socially oriented or educational work with young people

Youth workers, street workers, and social workers from any type of outreach or community-based program who are using—or want to explore using—street art as a tool for engagement and expression

Sessions on the fundamentals of street work

Understanding street work as a tool for connection, empowerment, and social change.

Open discussions and practical activities on the following topics:

  • Skills & competences of a street worker
  • Compassionate boundaries – balancing support with self-care and professionalism
  • Community knowledge – understanding local realities, needs, and cultural codes
  • Respect and trust-building – essential for working on the street
  • Non-judgmental attitude – meeting people where they are
  • Motivation to empower others – not to “save,” but to support growth

Active involvement in a grassroots street art festival. Co-created and organized by local young people, offering real-life space for engagement, visibility, and artistic collaboration.
