Sustainable Future is an Erasmus+ training course for youth workers, focused on climate action, sustainability, and non-formal education. Join us in Petrohan, Bulgaria, to learn, connect, and create innovative solutions for a greener world!
The training objectives are:
To raise awareness of the diverse realities and challenges that individuals and communities across Europe and beyond face due to climate change, fostering empathy and a deeper understanding of the issue’s multifaceted nature by exploring it through multiple cultural and social perspectives.
To build a strong network of youth workers committed to addressing climate change and sustainable development, encouraging the co-creation of innovative, creative, and community-based solutions to shared environmental challenges.
To equip youth workers with practical competences and non-formal educational tools that empower them to engage young people in meaningful learning experiences around sustainability, climate action, and ecological responsibility.
To develop participants’ facilitation skills with a focus on designing and leading effective non-formal education sessions that promote active participation, critical thinking, and collaborative learning on topics related to sustainability.
We are looking for youth workers to join the training who:
Are aged 18+
Are residents in one of the Erasmus+ programme or partner countries – all EU member states, North Macedonia, Serbia, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Türkiye, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia.
Have the experience in working/volunteering with organizations on programs/projects for youth.
Are available for the whole period of the training course.
Are open to learning, developing new skills, acquiring knowledge related to non-formal educational methods and sustainable development.
Are able to engage a group in an educational process, appreciate an interactive model of learning, create a comfortable environment, convey accurate information, mediate conflicts and understand group dynamics.
