ABOUT THE PROJECT
What YOU will do:
- LEARN WITH US: Attend courses, training, activities, and workshops about sustainable environment, handcraft, content creation, and effective social media use.
- TEACH US IN THE SPEAKING CLUB: Teach about your country of origin or organize activities about your interests and teach the local volunteers what you learned from our project in our speaking club!
- ASSISTANCE: Assist teachers and mentors during the activities. Help organize small events and celebrations such as walks, trips, excursions sports, cultural nights, etc.
PARTICIPANTS PROFILE
- Aged between 18 and 30;
- Female-identifying;
- Flexible, open-minded, tolerant, communicative;
- Having experience as a local volunteer;
- Willing to participate in teamwork;
- At least having beginner-level of English knowledge.
ABOUT HOSTING ORGANIZATION
Cedid is one of the biggest organizations working with the European Solidarity Corps in Turkey. We aim at developing awareness and harmony among different cultures. Our association initiates and promotes all forms of youth activities. We reach that goal by organizing training programs, seminars, conferences, public events, meetings, and youth exchange programs.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD & TRAVELLING
The hosting organization covers accommodation, food, and transportation for participants throughout the duration of the project. Accommodations will be provided within the city where the project is set to take place, ensuring convenient proximity to the activities. Transportation is facilitated with good access from the accommodation to the project venue, ensuring ease of movement for all participants. In addition to these provisions, participants will receive a daily stipend, enabling them to purchase food and meet their daily needs throughout the project period.
Cedid Association has a flat for volunteers’ accommodation. There are several rooms which have 2,3 or 4 beds following their size. The kitchen, toilets, and living room are for common use.
