Invitation to the launching conference of the methodological framework “VTT and DTS as tools for the innovation of learning and creativity and for the mental well-being of young learners” by Tallinna Kunstigümnaasium 31 of January 2023, Kopli 102a, Tallinn, Estonia.
Tallinna Kunstigümnaasium is cordially inviting to the launching conference of the methodological framework “VTT and DTS as tools for the innovation of learning and creativity and for the mental well-being of young learners” elaborated as a result of our 2 years Erasmus+ project “Visual creativity and Design thinking as tools for young learners in a virtual world”. The project was organized in partnership with organizations from Estonia, Finland, Lithuania and Denmark.
The document is designed to provide teachers and youth workers with a new lesson and activity delivering approach – Design Thinking Strategies and Visual Thinking Techniques, supporting the young learner’s engagement in the study process, focusing on the mental wellbeing of youth affected by the pandemic period.
From the program:
· Speeches by representatives from the 5 partner organizations – Tallinna Kunstigümnaasium and Tartu Art School (Estonia), Educraftor Oy Ab (Finland), Šiuolaikinių didaktikų centras (Lithuania) and Crossing Borders (Denmark)
· A practical lesson on the use of VTT and DTS in the classroom
· Practical exercises and activities involving the guests
· Exhibitions of art works elaborated during the project period
The event will take place between 9:30 and 15:00 on 31 of January 2023, starting with a welcoming coffee and breakfast. The lunch will be organized at the event venue.
