It is without question that Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digitalisation are having a profound impact on our lives. New digital technologies are revolutionising the interaction between governments, public services, and citizens.

With young people being those most exposed to digital technologies, algorithms, and online ways of interaction, this begs the question as to how big data and new technologies are affecting them and how the youth information sector should evolve.

What changes will have to be made to ensure further access to information, public services, and social rights? How can youth information services guarantee the right to privacy, data protection and a personalised approach while making use of new information technologies?
