ABOUT THE PROJECT
The NGO Video Lab project is focused on educating youth workers in NGOs to master the skills of creating engaging video content. The goal is to equip youth workers with modern promotional strategies and video content to reach more young people, increasing their involvement in NGO activities.
Participants will learn to use digital tools and platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels to promote their activities and organizations, in response to the growing preference among young people for video-based communication.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
- Equip youth workers with skills to use modern promotional strategies.
- Teach how to create and use video content effectively.
- Enhance youth participation in NGO activities via social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.
PARTICIPANTS PROFILE
Eligible participants must:
- Be 18 years old or above
- Be able to communicate and work in English
- Be motivated to actively participate in all aspects of the youth exchange, including discussions, workshops, and practical exercises
- Respect diverse perspectives and experiences of fellow participants
- Be able to participate during the entire project
- Working daily with young people, with the need to learn how to reach them using modern channels such as TikTok and Instagram via video materials to create new educational opportunities
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD & TRAVELLING
Participants will stay at Hotel Matija Gubec in Stubičke Toplice, a well-known wellness location in Croatia with thermal waters.
- Participants will be accommodated in rooms with two or three beds.
- Three meals will be provided daily as an open buffet, with two coffee breaks.
- Free access to the hotel pool and internet will be available.
- Nearby shops and a pharmacy are within a 5-10 minute walk.

ABOUT HOSTING ORGANIZATION
The Croatian Office for Creativity and Innovation (Hrvatski ured za kreativnost i inovacije, HUKI) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting entrepreneurial culture and education focused on innovative approaches to solving real-world challenges in local communities. HUKI provides non-formal education on topics such as entrepreneurship, employment, innovation, digitalization, and creativity.
