This is a Partnership Building Activity and we want to create a space for networking and creating new projects with a focus on YOUTH IN RURAL areas. We want to plan projects for KA1 and KA2 aimed at increasing the participation and welbeing of these youth
The main aim will be to find partners and create a strong network for future cooperation projects in rural areas of Europe.
Goals:
- To promote quantitative and qualitative implementation of Erasmus+ and its different Key Actions in rural areas of EUROPE
- To support the development youth work in Europe on rural areas and increases its European dimension
- To share experiences and exchange good (and bad) practices about youth work and youth participation in rural areas.
Methodology: Nonformal education based methods, like speed-dating to get to know each other, panels of good practices, open spaces and brainstorming for networking, online tools for virtual cooperation purposes and mainly to have a good atmosphere to promote friendships and strong long-lasting partnerships.
Activity programme:
(Preparation phase: The team of trainers will prepare some small tasks and activities to be developed by the participants prior to the arrival using different online tools like padlet, jamboard or wiki. This will be used as a warming up, motivation and starting point for the residential activity)
Day 1: Getting to know each other. We will start the morning with games to know each other’s names and basic information about organisations, activities, etc. We will also share the expectations and contributions of the participants (and their organisations), and we will start building a huge “mind-map” in a wall where the connections will start to flow. Review of the preparation phase materials. Brief summary about Erasmus+ and ESC in general, to have a common ground of information of all participants (in case of newcomers or not experienced). Online tools for cooperation and communication and in the end of the day, an intercultural fair event (to relax and enjoy more).
Day 2: Morning and afternoon will be based on small random groups to get to know deeper each other and to exchange good (and bad) practices. Two panels of presentations in the morning and 2 in the afternoon will create a “fair” of RURAL-YOUTH-WORK where we will all discover and debate about the needs and challenges of the youth in rural areas.
Day 3: Brainstorming day about possibilities and opportunities for youth cooperation projects in rural areas. Exploring Youth participation projects and KA2 potential. Networking time to start developing some common goals and ideas.
Day 4: New networking time to connect with other participants and to get to know better other organisations. Conclusions and partnership agreements. Evaluation and Youthpass.
