Despite abundant information sources, primarily online, recent studies conducted by ERYICA reveal that young people across countries find it hard to access reliable and understandable information. In the context of mass disinformation, young people are more than ever in need of assistance in selecting and processing information to make their decisions. Hence the importance of youth information and counselling services.
In the framework of the Erasmus+ YinfoPioneers: Pioneering Youth Information and Counselling in the Western Balkans project, this webinar is designed to gain knowledge about different youth information and counselling models, practices, and resources.
Gathering experts from the ERYICA network, project partners and young people, the relevance, concept, principles and impact of youth information and counselling will be discussed. Moreover, the participants will learn about existing coordinating structures and services provided across Europe and familiarise themselves with how youth information is embedded into national youth policies and work.
