This partner finding event, co-organised by Youth Work Ireland, will provide space for likeminded youth organisations with an interest and history of doing youth work to connect, and build potential partnerships for future youth mobility projects.
Youth Work Ireland is a Federation of 20 Member Youth Services who work in an integrated way to deliver services to young people aged 12-24 years. Youth Work Ireland are an inclusive, membership based and youth-led organisation who work together to develop the potential of young people and to strengthen communities in Ireland through quality youth work practices.
This training aimed at youth workers, youth work managers and leaders who work on a regular basis with young people aged 13–18 years of age and who have an interest in building potential partnerships for future projects in the following areas:
- Creativity and Innovation
- Active Citizenship
- Green Economy
- Engaging with marginalised young people
- European Identity
- Social inclusion
Objectives
- Build connections with youth organisations who share similar values and aims.
- Collaborate and share best practices in youth work provision.
- Understand and learn about youth work in different European jurisdictions.
- Develop innovative ways to respond to the needs, challenges and aspirations of the young people we work with.
- In partnership with others to develop exchanges, projects, mobilities for young people and youth workers.
Arrival and Departure
We request that all participants are available to arrive at on Sunday 16th April. The departure will be after lunch on Wednesday 19th April. We expect participants to be available for the whole duration of the training course.
