The You4Health! online learning platform offers training contents to support youth organisations efforts in developing and implementing health promotion interventions. It is available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Slovene.
The You4Health! online learning platform was created to promote the capacity of young people and youth organisations to develop health promotion interventions.
The platform is accessible, free of charge, upon registration, at this webpage.
The platform and its learning contents were developed in the framework of the You4Health! project (https://you4health.eu/). You4Health! is an Erasmus+ co-funded project which aims to empower young people to contribute to reducing excessive alcohol and drug use, as well as their consequences on well-being and mental health.
The platforms consists of three main sections:
Section 1: Health and prevention information (e.g., information on the epidemiology and impact of alcohol and drugs on young people’s health, as well as research findings on risk and protective factors, and prevention strategies). Includes good practices and examples of youth-led health promotion interventions.
Section 2: Project management. Stages of project development and activity management.
Section 3. Transferable competences useful when organizing youth activities (e.g. advocacy, campaigning, stakeholder management, etc.).
Special features:
Available in six different languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Slovene.
A platform for youth from youth. A Youth Advisory Group composed of young people from around Europe contributed to all You4Health! activities in order to tailor the project outputs to youth’s needs. In line with this approach, the platform was created while ensuring contribution and feedback from youth at different steps of its development.
