ACCOMODATION
The volunteer will live in an apartment shared with another volunteer. The apartment is modern and includes a washing machine, heater, etc. It has different possibilities. The apartment is located close to Konyaaltı Beach. The office of the association where the volunteers will work is also inside.
The host organization will assume the following responsibilities
To prepare volunteers for the project in Antalya.
To provide the necessary conditions for the volunteer to perform volunteering activities properly.
To provide him/her with a place to stay.
Per participant and for the daily grant: 4 EUR
Providing food (financial support) of 800 TL.
Providing 2 days off per week plus 2 more free days per month.
Providing him/her with a mentor.
To give the local transportation card (150 Turkish Liras per month). (Bicycle support)
Providing allowance to the volunteer every month.
Round trip travel fee will be refunded up to 275 EUR.
WEEKLY PROGRAM
1 day association office (Turkish lesson; Music lesson: Bağlama, traditional instrument).
1 day nature study (planting flowers, tree care, endemic plants).
4 days in 4-6 years old kindergartens: English speaking club, simple drama, music, games.
Weekends and 2 days off per month.
VOLUNTEER PROFILE
He/She will participate in local youth center, municipal kindergarten. In addition to teaching children their mother tongue or english, they must be committed to learning the target language. There will be speaking classes in english so the vounteers should have minimum intermediate level of english. It must be positive, open-minded, motivated, initiative, creative, culturally proactive and socially sensitive. In addition, he/she must have the ability to easily adapt to new conditions, to be interested and to have basic information in the digital world (social media, website, online tools, photo and video editors), experience in Erasmus + mobility projects / programs or an interest in learning about them. Vounteer should be interested in music, dance and / or sports. Throughout the program, volunteers should interact with local people and organizations to learn about our culture and lifestyle. We look forward to meeting the candidates and future participants.
