Connecting entrepreneurial learning & solidarity opportunities. The aim of the seminar is to raise awareness of the Erasmus+ Youth, ESC and Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programs to understand how they support and complement each other.
INTRODUCTION
In 2018, a consortium of 11 Erasmus+ Youth/European Solidarity Corps National Agencies (NAs) and 5 SALTO-YOUTH Resource Centres have created the Youth@Work Partnership on Youth Employability and Entrepreneurship, with the aim to better tackle youth employability and entrepreneurship by working collaboratively, based on a common strategy.
Youth@Work is the alliance of the Erasmus+/European Solidarity Corps National Agencies of Italy (the leading NA), Cyprus, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malta, Poland, Republic of North Macedonia, Spain, and Turkey, as well as of the SALTO-YOUTH Eastern Europe and Caucasus (Poland), SALTO-YOUTH South East Europe (Slovenia) and SALTO-YOUTH Training and Cooperation (Germany) Resource Centres, as well as the Resource Centre for the European Solidarity Corps (Austria). For more information about Youth@Work, please visit our website – www.youthatworkpartnership.org and social media channels.
Within the context of the Youth@Work’s aim, objectives and activities, the concept of this seminar was born in order to bring on the same table three EU Programmes addressing entrepreneurship: Erasmus+/Youth, European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs.
The seminar will bring together a diversity of stakeholders from the three EU Programmes aiming at exploring the possible complementing potential and synergies within.
AIM AND OBJECTIVES
The aim of the seminar is to bring Erasmus+ Youth, European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs on the same table and identify:
· The potential for synergies and complementing that can benefit the quality of entrepreneurial learning and the development of relevant competences offered by the Programmes and
· The impact of relevant projects that are implemented under the three Programmes.
The objectives include:
· Creating awareness about the vision, objectives, priorities, rules and opportunities of the three Programmes;
· Creating awareness on the learning dimension of the three Programmes based on Entrecomp;
· Showcasing expertise and experiences regarding entrepreneurship and spirit of initiative within the Programmes;
· Exploring and identify the supporting and complementing role the three Programmes have to each other;
· Exploring opportunities for collaboration and synergies both at local and international levels;
· Offering the space for the creation of relevant action planning.
