Youth@Work Seminar will inspire you to exchange good practices, contribute to networking and cooperation between organizations, show the possibilities of designing your own activities using the Erasmus + European Solidarity Corps Programs.
The Youth@Work Online Seminar: Employment and entrepreneurship of young people with fewer opportunities – with the emphasis on women’s enterpreurship is the event aligned within the objectives of the Youth@Work Partnership, of the new EU Youth Strategy (2019-2027), with the European Youth Goals and with the priorities of the Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps.
The main aim of the event is to raise awareness of employment and entrepreneurship among young people with fewer opportunities, to develop the skills and competences of youth workers in designing and implementing entrepreneurship ideas among people with fewer opportunities as innovative ways for tackling social problems, to equip them with appropriate tools and methods. During this meeting, we will focus in particular on the needs of young women with fewer opportunities.
Objectives :
- to inform and raise awareness among participants about the characteristics, benefits, values and factors for the success of social entrepreneurship as a catalyst for youth employability;
- to inspire youth workers to awake entrepreneurial attitudes among people with fewer opportunities, in particular among young women (sessions with experts);
- to share good practices and the reality of employment and entrepreneurship among young people, especially women;
- get acquainted with the possibilities of implementing projects in the field of developing entrepreneurship and strengthening employment among young people with fewer opportunities under the Erasmus + Program and the European Solidarity Corps;
- networking for cooperation on future entrepreneurship and employment projects for people with fewer opportunities;
- to design ideas for educational projects in the field of entrepreneurship and employment among young people with fewer opportunities + consultation with NA officers.
