SUMMARY
Facing individuals and communities with challenges such as unemployment, migrants and economic crises, terrorism, the coronavirus pandemic, have contributed to the rise distrust in institutions and proclaimed values on which the European one is based community. There is one between catastrophic and idealistic development scenarios common point – a general agreement that it is time to act differently. If we want to to be different, we have to learn differently.
Our choice is the experience of the informal learning through life and work in the camp, in nature, outdoors and through everyday life interaction with the rural local community. The goal of the exchange of 27 young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia are practically acquiring competencies for lifelong learning, development intergenerational, interethnic and interreligious cooperation and promotion of the right to dignified work and social well-being in a healthy environment.
WHY AND WHERE ?

The goal of the exchange of 27 young people from Bosnia, Croatia and Serbia are practically acquiring competencies for lifelong learning, development intergenerational, interethnic and interreligious cooperation and promotion of the right to dignified work and social well-being in a healthy environment.
Our target group are girls and boys from Bosnia, Croatia and Serbia between the ages of 18 and 25, motivated and open to communication and exchange, ready for 9 days of living in a mountain camp.
ACCOMMODATION AND OTHER STUFF
The camp is located in the village of Vrtovac (Eastern Serbia), on the road from the town of Kalna, to the ski resort and the top of Babin Zub (1758 meters high). It is 3 kilometers away from Kalna. The town of Kalna has about 600 households, an ambulance, a post office, a primary school, 2 shops, 2 cafes and a police station. The ski resort and hotels at the top of Babin Zub are 20 kilometers away.
The camp is surrounded by meadows and orchards. Trgoviški Timok flows next to the camp. At our disposal are arranged toilet, washing machine and dryer, Wi-Fi, deck chairs by the river, chill zone, refrigerator, etc. Each participant will be accommodated in a separate tent. Tents and sleeping bags are provided for everyone, but the bags are provided by the participants themselves
Participants can also bring their own camping equipment, which should be noted in the online application form. The water in the camp is safe to drink. The food will be adapted to the needs and wishes of the participants. The costs of travel, accommodation and meals for the youth exchange are fully covered.
During the entire youth exchange, the doctor will be present in the camp. Standard international travel insurance is provided, which also covers the costs of treatment in case of coronavirus infection. The average highest daily temperature for August on Stara Planina is 29 ° C, while the lowest is around 15 ° C. The UV index in August is around 5, so the use of sunscreen is recommended.

ANYTHING ELSE ?
During the entire youth exchange, the doctor will be present in the camp. Standard international travel insurance is provided, which also covers the costs of treatment in case of coronavirus infection.
The currency in the Republic of Serbia is the dinar. We recommend that you change your money before setting off. (1 € ≈ 118RSD). Although it is possible to pay with all cards in Serbia, keep in mind that due to the specifics of the exchange and the small place where we realize it, it is desirable to have cash. The nearest ATM is 20 km away. We will adhere to the environmental rules that we will work together before the start of the camp.
